can you use an acoustic guitar with this amp? I bought one at a thrift store for 25$!

I had one, the tone was good. My one also buzzed! We nicknamed it the back stage buzz!

I was reading about the Saturation control on another post. It's supposed to work in conjuction with the Gain control. I think raising the Pre higher than the Saturation gives you a hard crunch, and the opposite gives you a smoother overdrive. Or maybe it's the other way around?

I bought this amp new Jones music in Taveres Fl back in 87 ... played it so muich, so many hours hundred s of hours, one day in 97 I overhead slammed it across my Honda hood, it toppled into the yard 2-3 times ............. took it inside tried it, played perfect still. Tiny scuff on 1 corner. Years later traded it for a marshall, hated the marshall but the guy wasnt inteested in trading back. They were sure built to last back then. I ran a Boss OD1 into it on about 9:00 & it sounded awesome

If you were to combine every crapy sound ever heard in a music store multiply that by 1k and you have a Namm soundtrack.

Your manner of filming is terrible: you never rest on a guitar so we can have a proper look. Setting the video still is what is needed to do so.

I've had mine three years and its a workhorse. It would hold up well in a regular gig situation with a good case. Keep it humidified 45-50 % watch Randy Schartiger's video on guitar hydration.

I got one of these for nothing, I ended up cutting it down and making it into a head, believe me the difference is amazing. The drive on these things is pretty useless but I have a homemade tube overdrive pedal (actually uses tubes) and run it into the clean channel and it’s beautiful

Had one of these years ago. Went missing while I was away for several years doing school and other things. Would love to have it for the memories, but then, that's true of a lot of things.

I've got one of these to use as a practice amp, and it sounds pretty nice for how small it is! I've found I can get pretty passable heavy metal tones by running my SD-1 and OD-3 into it.

Seems like the difference in self-oscillation abilities between the two is likely due to different settings of the internal ("repeats") trim pot.

Cool design but wish the tuner pegs didn't stick up right where you rest your arm. It would be better if the pegs were reversed to stick out in back...can they be flipped around? Demonstrator states "they don't get in your way" while having to hold his arm up as they are in his way.
